Wiflow at MarkHack 4.0 – How We Enhanced The Experience

There are events you attendโ€ฆ and then there are events you become a part of.

MarkHack 4.0; powered by Eko Innovation Centre and GDM Group, was one of those rare moments where innovation, storytelling, and human connection collided in the most powerful way.

Held in the heart of Lagos, MarkHack has grown into one of Africaโ€™s most important platforms shaping the future of marketing and technology. But beyond the panels, the pitches, and the big ideasโ€ฆ last year was about something deeper:

Experience.

And at Wiflow, we didnโ€™t just come to document that experience โ€” we came to amplify it.

More Than Coverage: We Told the Story as It Happened

As an official media partner, our role could have simply been to โ€œcover the event.โ€

But if you know us, you know thatโ€™s never enough.

We approached MarkHack 4.0 the way we approach every story โ€” with intention, depth, and a commitment to making moments felt, not just seen.

From the energy in the rooms to the subtle interactions between founders, creators, and executives, our lenses were focused on one thing:

Capturing the human side of innovation.

PHaaM: Turning Presence Into Legacy

One of the most powerful things we brought into MarkHack 4.0 was our initiative:

Professional Headshot as a Mission (PHaaM)

In a space filled with brilliance, influence, and leadership, we saw an opportunity โ€”
not just to capture faces, but to preserve identity and legacy.

Through PHaaM, we professionally profiled High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs) and key ecosystem players, including representatives and executives from:

  • Lagos State Government
  • Bank of Industry
  • Technext
  • Trophy Lager
  • CONDIA
  • Risevest
  • FrieslandCampina
  • Samsung
  • Nestlรฉ
  • PepsiCo
  • Startup Launchcode
  • Africacomicade
  • African eSport Development Federation
  • Jumia

โ€ฆand many more.

Each frame wasnโ€™t just a picture.
It was a statement.

โ€œI was here. I am building. I am part of this story.โ€

โ€œSell Your Brand in 60 Secondsโ€ โ€” And Watch What Happens

MarkHack wasnโ€™t just about conversations, it was also about visibility. So we asked a simple question to exhibiting brands:

โ€œIf you had just 60 secondsโ€ฆ how would you tell your story?โ€

That question gave birth to one of the most impactful activations we ran at the event:

Sell Your Brand in 60 Seconds

We created fast-paced, social-first portrait videos for exhibiting brands; giving them a platform to communicate clearly, confidently, and creatively.

And the results?

  • Massive traction across all social platforms
  • Increased visibility for emerging brands
  • Direct audience engagement
  • And most importantlyโ€ฆ
real business outcomes โ€” including sales

Because at Wiflow, we donโ€™t just create content.

We create outcomes.

A Shared Vision of the Future

MarkHack 4.0 reminded us of something weโ€™ve always believed:

The future belongs to those who can build, communicate, and connect โ€” all at once.

From startup founders to corporate leaders, from creatives to technologists, the room was filled with people who are actively shaping whatโ€™s next for Africa.

And for us, being in that space wasnโ€™t just about visibility. It was about alignment.

Why This Matters to Us

At Wiflow, our mission has always been simple:

Document the moment. Amplify the story. Create lasting impact.

MarkHack 4.0 gave us the opportunity to do all three at scale.

But more importantly, it allowed us to serve:

  • The people building the future
  • The brands telling new stories
  • And the ecosystem driving innovation forward

This Is Just the Beginning

If MarkHack 4.0 showed us anything, itโ€™s this:

We are only scratching the surface of whatโ€™s possible when media, technology, and storytelling truly come together.

And as alwaysโ€ฆ weโ€™ll be right there โ€” not just capturing it, but helping shape it.
